The boats at Lake Melissani are 12-person rowboats with a rower. Passengers might encounter crowds when boarding during the peak season in July and August.
The boat ride lasts around 10-15 minutes and includes entry into the cave. The duration may vary depending on the number of visitors waiting in line.
To preserve the natural environment and protect the site, swimming in the Lake is not allowed for visitors.
